The following rules must be strictly followed to avoid disqualification:

1. Only a single static PowerPoint slide is permitted
2. Presentation should not exceed three minutes – a contestant exceeding the time limit would be disqualified
3. No slide animation, movement, transitions etc. is allowed
4. No additional electronic media (e.g. sound and video files) or any instruments (e.g. musical instruments, lab equipment, costumes) are permitted

1. Presentations would be considered to have commenced when the presented starts their presentation through either speech or movements
2. Presentations should be in spoken words (poems, songs, raps etc. are not allowed)

Following major criteria would be used for judgement:

1. Understanding and elaboration of the background to the research question being addressed and its significance?
2. Key results including conclusion & outcomes
3. Use of non-specialist language to make others understand the study
4. Avoidance of research jargons but putting things simply
5. Was the presentation balanced by including all elements of research without over explaining few and leaving others.

1. Was the power point slide clear, legible, concise and understandable?
2. Did the presenter capture audience attention?
3. Did the presentation ignite audience to know more about the study?
4. Was the presenter enthusiastic for research?
5. Did the presenter have sufficient stage presence, vocal range, eye contact, steady pace and confidence?

1. You would receive an intimation of your registration
2. You would be called for the one slide with voice over
3. Your competition date and time would be announced by 12th March, 2022
4. You should be physically present on the competition day (not applicable to foreign participants).
